UnixWare 7 的简单安装

说明:
     系统环境:PII450/64M/6.4G/40xcdrom/15"
     软件:UnixWare 7 (现在的版本为UnixWare 7.1)
     安装时 F2为选择,F9为上一步,F10(或Enter)为下一步

一、准备(制作安装盘):
把CD-ROM里的映像文件: images/boot.image.C.1,boot.image.C.2 做两张启动软盘.
dd if=boot.image.C.1 of=/dev/fd0135ds18 bs=512
dd if=boot.image.C.2 of=/dev/fd0135ds18 bs=512

二、 开始安装:
A.插入启动盘1,关机重起动.软盘引导启动出现UnixWare 7画面,按提示插入启动盘1,键入F10
B.选Americas(latin-1),键入F10
选C(English), 键入F10
选United states, 键入F10
输入license或用测试版,键入F8(这里我们以测试版为例,60天有效)
选Yes,use an evaluation license.
选install HBadiskette,键入F10
选Recognized do not enter the ocucallto-configure drivers)如无scsi driver.

c.输入机器名,如:unixware, 选Install from CD-ROM
选安装方式: Use whole disk for unix
Customize partitions(这里我们选定制安装)
Re-load partition information from disk
选择类型 UNIX system,Disk configuration options
选择系统属性 Choose system profile,按缺省值.
选择网络配置 select defer network configuration
选择时间和安全级别:date and time,traditional
输入系统拥有者名称/口令:system owner name/login name/ID/password
选择服务器类型:
windows integration services
internet/intranet services
mail and messaging services
systems and data management services(我们选定此项)
andvanced reliability and scalability services
developer services
选择接受安装条款.Accept license agreement install
接着是漫长的文件拷贝过程,最后取出软盘,光盘重启动.

三、结束(祝您好运!)
启动后提示选择鼠标,进入IDE图形界面.(界面与SUN solarise,IBM AIX都很相似)
